What comes with a portable hand washing station?
A PolyJohn Bravo hand washing station has 2 sinks back to back. Two people can wash at the same time. Foot pumps move the water, and no power is needed. The 22-gallon fresh tank gives nearly 350 washes per fill, by the maker's count. A 24-gallon tank holds the used water.
Each side has its own pump, soap and towels. Guests never touch a faucet handle.
The station is 26.5 inches wide and 62 inches tall. That slim size fits beside a food tent, at a job-site gate or through an indoor door.

How many hand wash stations does a food event need?
A food event needs 1 hand wash station for every 3 toilets, using the Willie Rental Works sizing method. A crawfish boil with 6 toilets needs 2 stations. Set 1 at the restrooms. Put the next one near the food line when guests eat with their hands.
| Toilets | Stations | Sinks in use at once |
|---|---|---|
| 1–3 | 1 | 2 |
| 4–6 | 2 | 4 |
| 7–9 | 3 | 6 |
| 10–12 | 4 | 8 |
Barbecues, fish fries and church suppers all count as food events. Food vendors may have their own sink rules, so they should ask the event organizer or health office.
Not sure how many toilets you need first? The event and crew porta potty calculator gives both numbers. Booking the restrooms too? See event porta potty rentals in Conroe.

Do job sites and remodels need hand wash stations?
OSHA 1926.51(f) calls for washing facilities on construction work that involves paints, coatings or other harmful contaminants. A 2-station sink gives a crew soap and water with no plumbing. On 28-day rentals, we refill the 22 gallons, empty the grey tank and restock towels every week.
Do the math for a busy crew. Fifteen workers washing 4 times a day use about 60 washes, so one fill lasts close to 6 days.
Store remodels and break-room moves use stations too. When indoor sinks are torn out, a Bravo fits through a normal door. See the OSHA 1926.51 text, or our job-site porta potty rental page.
When should you pick a unit with a sink inside instead?
Pick a porta potty with a sink inside for 1 or 2 toilets on a tight lot. The sink sits inside the same 43.5-inch-wide shell, so nothing extra stands in the yard. Choose a separate station when food is served or people need to wash without waiting for the door.
A small family cookout with 1 toilet is a good match for a sink unit. A plate-and-fork crowd of 120 needs stations people can reach in a line.
Want a flush and paper towels in the same unit? The deluxe flushable porta potty with a sink puts both inside one door.
Hand wash station questions from Conroe renters
These 6 answers cover what people ask about portable sinks: weekend price, water hookups, running dry, indoor use, grey water and sanitizer. Each answer leads with the fact. Rates shown are starting prices before tax, and outer areas add distance.
How much to rent a hand wash station for a weekend?
A 2-station hand wash sink starts at $95 per weekend. On a 28-day rental with a weekly refill, it starts at $125. Tax is added.
Does it need to hook up to water?
The Bravo carries its own 22 gallons of fresh water and never connects to a hose. We fill it before delivery.
What happens if it runs out of water mid-party?
One fill gives nearly 350 washes, so a one-day party rarely runs dry. For long or multi-day events, we schedule a refill between days.
Can it go inside the store while we remodel?
The Bravo is 26.5 inches wide and 62 inches tall, so it fits through a standard door. We roll it in on a hand truck. Show the driver a level spot away from foot traffic.
Who empties the dirty water?
Our service tech empties the 24-gallon grey water tank, then refills fresh water and restocks soap and towels. On 28-day rentals, that happens every week.
Do I still need one if the porta potty has hand sanitizer?
Sanitizer does not wash off grease, dirt or paint. Food events and messy work do better with soap and running water.
